Winter & snow shoe hiking in the Stubai Valley in Tyrol
Escape everyday life on snowshoes
Hike in the untouched, snow-covered forests of the Stubai Valley and dive deeper into the enchanting landscapes of Tyrol. The snowshoe gives you a special foothold and provides you with a unique experience in a radiant white, quiet winter landscape.
Excursions into the snow-covered nature of the Stubai Valley
Tours for winter and snowshoe hiking are available in different lengths and difficulty levels. Experienced hikers will enjoy the longer tours, which start at the bottom station of the Schlick 2000. Start e.g. in Fulpmes directly from the valley station to the middle station Froneben and hike from there on the snowshoe hiking trail to the Schlickeralm.
For snowshoe beginners there are exciting 20-to 90-minute hiking tours on marked winter hiking trails from the Serles lifts, e.g. from the Koppeneck mountain station. Due to the high-altitude starting point, hikes with snowshoes take place here from early in winter until spring. In addition to independent hiking, you can join organized tours with a mountain guide.
Guided tours are also on the weekly program of the Alpin Resort Stubaier Hof in winter. Just have a look at our weekly program.
